Jude happens to cater the one Los Angeles party where Stella appears, which is a lot of coincidence for a hinge. The daughters' generation never matches the twins for vividness; Kennedy especially stays a sketch of a rich girl. And the ending exhales rather than lands, decades of tension dispersing into an open question.
